  • STEP 1.Start by rinsing the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • STEP 2.In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the rinsed rice along with salt. Cook until the rice is 70% cooked.
  • STEP 3.Drain the rice and set it aside. In the same pot, melt butter and saut茅 onions until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add the dried fruits, nuts, and spices to the pot and cook for a few minutes until fragrant.
  • STEP 5.Layer the partially cooked rice over the onion mixture and drizzle saffron water on top.
