Ingredients for Jereesh Recipe

  • 2 cup jerresh
  • 1/2 kilogram Chicken
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 liter laban
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ajinomoto

  • STEP 1.Finely slice the onion & tomato

  • STEP 2.Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot. Add ginger paste & garlic paste then saute for 2- three minutes or till the raw smells go.

  • STEP 3.Add chicken thigh & fry each side for ten - quarter-hour or till the chicken turns a golden color, conjointly add sliced tomatoes & ingredient to the chicken & saute well.

  • STEP 4.Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, white pepper powder & combine well. Pour water into the pot. Prick the lime with a degree of the knife and add. Conjointly add cloves, herb & salt. Cowl & cook until the chicken is roasted.

  • STEP 5.Remove the chicken items from the gravy & place it on the baking receptacle.

  • STEP 6.Preheat the kitchen appliance to 180°c / 350°f. Roast the chicken for ten minutes or till it turns golden brown color.

  • STEP 7.Meantime, add the jeeresh / broken wheat within the stock then add water if needed. Cowl & cook for ten - quarter-hour or till jareesh is roasted.

  • STEP 8.When the jareesh is roasted, add food & stir gently. It ought to have a creamy consistency. To caramelize the onion, heat the vegetable oil within the serious bottom pan & add the sliced onion. Fry until it turns a dark golden color.

  • STEP 9.With constant oil, slightly fry the inexperienced chili for garnish. Place the jareesh on the serving plate & high with cooked chicken, deep-fried onions & chili.
