Ingredients for Jeera puri Recipe

  • 0.33 cup maida
  • 0.67 tbsp rava
  • 0.33 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.33 tsp jeera
  • 0.33 tsp ¼ tsp
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp hee
  • 0.33 cup ¼

Directions: Jeera Puri Recipe

  • STEP 1.jeera puri
  • STEP 2.In a mortal-pestal, add black pepper, jeera, and ajwain. Crush into a coarse mixture.
  • STEP 3.Now in a mixing bowl, add maida, rava, salt, crushed masala, and ghee.
  • STEP 4.Now rub the ghee and flour mixture together using fingertips till the mixture becomes crumbly breadcrumbs-like.
  • STEP 5.Add little water at a time and start kneading the dough. The dough should be stiff and hard.
  • STEP 6.Cover the dough and rest for at least 15 minutes.
  • STEP 7.After resting time, knead it once again to smooth out and divide the dough into equal parts.
  • STEP 8.Make a smooth ball and flatten it out between your palm.
  • STEP 9.Then roll puri into medium-thick and small size disc. And using the knife, prick the surface on both sides. Roll all puri into the same way.
  • STEP 10.Heat the oil in a pan on medium-low heat for deep frying. Add puri into hot oil and fry puri till it becomes golden brown and crispy from both sides.
  • STEP 11.Remove them on the wire rack and fry all puris in same way.
  • STEP 12.Repeat the frying process till all the puris are fried.
  • STEP 13.Cooldown fried puri completely, then store them in an airtight container.
