Ingredients for jau ki ghat Recipe

  • 0.33 tablespoons Barley flour –
  • 0.33 cups Buttermilk (chilled) –
  • 0.17 cup Water –
  • As required Asafoetida (hing) – a pinch
  • 0.08 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder –
  • 1/25 teaspoon Black pepper –
  • As required Rock salt or black salt – to taste
  • As required Fresh coriander – for garnish

Directions: Jau Ki Ghat Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat a little water in a pan and mix in the barley flour. Cook on low flame while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes). Let the mixture cool completely.
  • STEP 2.Add chilled buttermilk, hing, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, and salt to the cooled barley mix.Mix everything well until smooth.
  • STEP 3.Optional: Refrigerate for 1–2 hours for extra cooling.Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh coriander and a sprinkle of roasted cumin powder.
