Ingredients for Jain chole Recipe

  • 1/2 Pieces Tomatoes
  • 1/4 g small pc ginger
  • 3/4 g 3-4 g
  • 1/2 tbsp 2-3 tbsp
  • 1/2 Pieces Dry red chilli
  • 1/4 Inch small stick cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Dhania powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chole masala
  • 0.13 tsp Haldi powder
  • As Required As per taste Salt
  • 1/4 Cups Chick peas
  • As Required Dhaniya

Directions: Jain Chole Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak chick peas min 6-7 hours.
  • STEP 2.Then add water, little salt & pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee or oil add bay leaf, dry red chilli, cloves, cinnamon stick & cumin seeds to it.
  • STEP 4.Add tomatoes, chilli & ginger to a mixer grinder & make puree.
  • STEP 5.Add all the spices to ghee & immediately add puree to it … cook for 5 to 6 mins on low flame.
  • STEP 6.Add chick peas & mix well. Cook well.
  • STEP 7.Then add tamarind pulp & mix well.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with coriander & serve hot with paratha // kulcha or rice.
