Ingredients for Jain chole Recipe

  • 4 Pieces Tomatoes
  • 2 Cups Chole chana soaked
  • 1 Tsp Galic-Ginger paste
  • 2 Pieces Dry red chilli
  • 1 Inch small stick cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp Chole masala
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
  • 2 Tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 Tsp Lemon juice

Directions: Jain Chole Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak chick peas overnight or minimum 6-8 hrs.
  • STEP 2.Wash them … add water, little salt & pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee or oil or buttet Add bay leaf, dry red chilli, cloves, cinnamon stick & cumin seeds to it.
  • STEP 4.Add tomatoes, chilli & ginger garlic to a mixer grinder & make puree.
  • STEP 5.Add all the spices to ghee and then add puree to it.cook for4to 5 mins on low flame.
  • STEP 6.Add cooked chick peas & mix well.put lid on kadhai and cook well.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander & serve hot with paratha / puri / kulcha or rice.
