Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Remove the eggs from the saucepan and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  • STEP 3.Scoop out the yolks and place them in a separate bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  • STEP 4.Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Irish stout, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  • STEP 5.Spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Garnish with crispy bacon and chopped chives.
  • STEP 6.Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • STEP 7.Serve chilled and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

  • To easily peel the eggs, gently tap them on a hard surface and roll them between your hands to loosen the shell.
  • For a stronger Irish stout flavor, you can add a little more to the yolk mixture.
  • If you don't have Irish stout, you can substitute it with another dark beer or omit it altogether.

  • Leftover deviled eggs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Serve the deviled eggs as an appetizer at parties, potlucks, or as a tasty snack.
