Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine quinoa, semolina, yogurt, and water. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Add grated carrots, chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger, and salt to the batter. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Grease the idli plates with oil and pour the batter into each mold.
  • STEP 4.Steam the idlis in a steamer for about 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • STEP 5.Once done, remove the idlis from the steamer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Gently remove the idlis from the molds using a spoon and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
