Ingredients for Tofu Matar Recipe
- 0.67 teaspoon Oil, use oil of choice, i used avocado oil
- 0.17 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 31.67 gram medium red onion , chopped
- 1 Large garlic cloves chopped
- 0.17 inch Ginger chopped
- 0.33 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 0.08 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 0.08 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 0.08 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 0.08 teaspoon Red chili powder or adjust to taste
- 0.08 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Optional
- 81.67 gram large tomatoes , pureed in a blender
- 0.17 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 0.33 cup Water /2
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt Or To Taste
- 2.50 ounce Extra firm tofu cubed, 21 , drain the water and press tofu with a heavy object for 10 15 minutes to get rid of excess moisture before cutting into cubes
- 0.11 cup Green peas frozen
- 0.67 tablespoon Vegan yogurt , whisked and at room temperature, i used plain almond milk yogurt
- As required Cilantro to garnish
