Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Turn on the Instant Pot and select the sauté mode.
  • STEP 2.Add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped cabbage, lentils, turmeric powder, salt, and water. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Close the lid and select the pressure cook mode. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Once the pressure is released, open the lid and add coconut paste. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with rice or roti.
