  • 1/4 cup Spinach Leaves, Washed
  • 1/4 inch Ginger, Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a blender, grind together soaked rice, lentils, spinach, ginger, and green chilies to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add salt and water to adjust the consistency of the batter. It should be slightly thinner than regular dosa batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick pan or tawa and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  • STEP 4.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Flip the dosa and cook for a minute on the other side.
  • STEP 6.Remove from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
  • STEP 7.Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make more dosas.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the rice and lentils for at least 4 hours to get a smooth batter.
  • You can add a pinch of baking soda to the batter for extra crispiness.
  • If the dosa sticks to the pan, sprinkle a few drops of water to release it easily.
