  • 0.06 cup Semolina
  • 0.06 cup Curd
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Grated Ginger

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of oats, 1/2 cup of rice flour, 1/4 cup of semolina, 1/4 cup of curd, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1 green chili (finely chopped), and salt to taste.
  • STEP 2.Add water gradually and mix well to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick pan or dosa tawa over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 4.Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Flip the dosa and cook for another minute.
  • STEP 6.Remove from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure the batter is of pouring consistency. If it is too thick, add a little water to adjust the consistency.
  • You can add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, or grated carrots to the batter for added flavor and texture.
  • To make the dosa more crispy, sprinkle some ghee or oil on top while cooking.

Storage and Serving

  • Instant oats dosa is best served hot and fresh.
  • If you have any leftover batter, store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
