  • 1/10 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/5 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the green chillies. Slit them lengthwise, removing the seeds if desired.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add the slit green chillies, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Cook on low heat until the sugar dissolves and the chillies become soft.
  • STEP 4.Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Transfer to a sterilized jar and store in a cool, dry place.
