Mysore Pak is a sweet originally from the state of Karnataka.
A perfectly made Mysore Pak is aromatic, slightly crunchy, melts in mouth, porous texture.
Coconut Mysore Pak is a perfect and quick sweet recipe for Diwali or any other festivel.
STEP 5.Add fresh cream in a pan, desiccated coconut, sugar, and finally cardamom powder.
STEP 6.Now mix all ingredients until they blend well.
STEP 7.For a minute or two cook it on full flame.
STEP 8.the important thing to be taken note of is that it has to be cooked continuously in one direction.
STEP 9.Once the mixture is hot and entirely melted, lower the flame.
STEP 10.Cooking it stirring continuously is the key to get that melt in the mouth texture. scrap the mixture if it sticks to the sides of the pan.
STEP 11.If you are fond of the lighter shade of Mysore Pak, at this stage you can turn off the flame. But if you would like the brown color of the Mysore Pak, then continue to cook for a minute or two.
STEP 12.take it out in a plate, according to the thickness of the piece you want
STEP 13.Leave it aside to set for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 14.Now cut it into square Mithai shape pieces.
