  • 2 pieces Hilsa fish ( Illish Maach)
  • 1/2 g medium size potato (cut into rectangular shape)
  • 1 g nos ridge gourd (cut into rectangular shape)
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1.50 tsp Mustard oil
  • 1/4 tsp Black cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl pour fish pieces, add salt n turmeric powder, mix it...
  • STEP 2.Now take a pan heat oil n fry the fish pieces on medium flame for 2 mins...
  • STEP 3.Now take out fish pieces....
  • STEP 4.In same pan add potatoes n ridge gourd n fry for few mins on medium flame..
  • STEP 5.Then add black cumin seeds fry for two seconds....
  • STEP 6.Now add onion paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, chilly powder n cook until oil separates from pan...
  • STEP 7.Now add water n stir it..
  • STEP 8.Now cover the lid until potato n ridge gourd becomes soft...
  • STEP 9.Finally add Fried fish pieces n cook for 2 mins on medium flame..
  • STEP 10.Serve with plain Rice
