A simple bengali fish fry recipe of ilish fish which is best served with rice and salad.

Wash the fish
Coat the fish with turmeric powder and salt, leave for 5mins
Heat oil for deep frying in a pan
Fry the fish one by one until golden
Add 2 green chilies in the oil
Serve with rice and 1tbsp of the frying oil
