A recipe right out of my mom's quick recipe book. This is a very easy to make snack that everyone in the family would love. Made with leftover idlis, this is a delicious snack that can be prepared in less than 15 minutes

Ingredients for Idli fritters Recipe

  • 1 Pieces left over idlis
  • 0.33 As required Oil for deep frying
  • 0.67 Tsp Oil for sautaing
  • 0.33 A Pinch Salt
  • 0.08 Tsp Chilli Powder
  • 0.33 A Pinch Pepper powder

Directions: Idli Fritters Recipe

  • STEP 1.Add the oil for deep frying to a tawa and let it heat
  • STEP 2.Once the oil is heated, add 3 chopped left over idlis to it
  • STEP 3.Fry till the idli pieces become crispy and set the fried idlis aside
  • STEP 4.Add few teaspoons of oil to a fresh tawa and put the fried idlis into it after the oil is heated
  • STEP 5.Add a pinch of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder and a pinch of pepper powder to this
  • STEP 6.Mix it well and serve once the mixtures sticks well to the fried idlies
  • STEP 7.Serve with mayonnaise or chilli/tomato sauce
