Ingredients for Idli Dosai Milagai Podi Recipe

  • 1 cup Chana dal
  • 1 cup Whole white urad dal
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Asafoetida
  • 2 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1.50 tablespoon Salt

Directions: Idli Dosai Milagai Podi Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a hot pan add 1 cup chana dal, 1 cup whole white urad dal and roast on low heat till golden brown. Keep aside.

step 2

  • STEP 1.In the hot pan add 2 tbsp coriander seeds and ½ cup sesame seeds and roast on low heat till seeds are crisp.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Combine the roasted ingredients in the small grinding jar of the mixer grinder and grind to add 1 tbsp asafoetida (hing), 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 ½ tbsp salt and blend to make a smooth powder.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Milagai (chilli) podi (powder) is ready. Store in an airtight container.
