  • STEP 1.Soak horse gram overnight and pressure cook until tender.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked horse gram along with its water and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add coconut milk and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
