A sweet, spicy and tangy preparation of crispy coated broccoli stir fried with crunchy red pepper and broccoli. The honey ginger tofu and veggies stir fry is so delicious served with a simple homemade honey ginger soy stir fry sauce. This crispy tofu broccoli is made under 30 minutes without deep frying. They can be steamed roasted or stir fried. Broccoli stir fried tofu is a recipe made in just one pan. It is a healthy alternative to takeout in a rich garlicky stir fried sauce with fresh broccoli.

Ingredients for Honey Tofu And Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • 350 gram Tofu cut into bite size chunks
  • 140 piece Broccoli cut into bite size gm
  • 1 No.s Dried red chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 No.s Red bell pepper cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 5 gram Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Wine
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 7 teaspoon Cornflour
  • As required Salt

Directions: Honey Tofu And Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 place 350 gm tofu cut into bite size chunks in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp chilli sauce, 2 tsp sesame seeds and 2 tsp cornflour.

  • STEP 2.2 mix well to coat all the pieces of tofu.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 add 5 tsp cornflour in a small mixing bowl and add 40 ml water. Stir to get a smooth mixture.

  • STEP 4.4 in a pan heat 2 tbsp oil on medium heat.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 carefully add the tofu pieces into the hot oil. Fry till golden on all sides.

  • STEP 6.6 remove from the pan and keep aside.

  • STEP 7.7 add another tbsp oil into the pan and add 3 finely chopped cloves of garlic, 5 gm of ginger finely chopped, 1 finely chopped dry red chilli and 1.2 a red bell pepper cut into bite size chunks.

  • STEP 8.8 stir fry for a few seconds till fragrant.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 then add 1 tsp rice wine and stir fry for 15 seconds.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 add 40 ml of water and bring it to a boil.

step 11

  • STEP 11.11 add 140 gm broccoli, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar,1 tsp sesame oil and salt to taste.

  • STEP 12.12 stir fry for 2 minutes.

step 13

  • STEP 13.13 then add the cornflour and water mixture and stir fry for another minute.

step 14

  • STEP 1.14 at this stage add the fried pieces of tofu and stir to ensure that the tofu and vegetables are evenly coated by the thick sauce. Turn off the heat. Serve hot.

step 15

  • STEP 14.15 serve hot.
