  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • 350 gram Tofu cut into bite size chunks
  • 140 piece Broccoli cut into bite size gm
  • 1 No.s Dried red chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 No.s Red bell pepper cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 5 gram Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 7 teaspoon Cornflour
  • As required Salt

How to Make Honey Tofu And Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

STEP 01

1 place 350 gm tofu cut into bite size chunks in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp chilli sauce, 2 tsp sesame seeds and 2 tsp cornflour.

STEP 02

2 mix well to coat all the pieces of tofu.

STEP 03

3 add 5 tsp cornflour in a small mixing bowl and add 40 ml water. Stir to get a smooth mixture.

STEP 04

4 in a pan heat 2 tbsp oil on medium heat.

STEP 05

5 carefully add the tofu pieces into the hot oil. Fry till golden on all sides.

STEP 06

6 remove from the pan and keep aside.

STEP 07

7 add another tbsp oil into the pan and add 3 finely chopped cloves of garlic, 5 gm of ginger finely chopped, 1 finely chopped dry red chilli and 1.2 a red bell pepper cut into bite size chunks.

8 stir fry for a few seconds till fragrant.

STEP 09

9 then add 1 tsp rice wine and stir fry for 15 seconds.

STEP 10

10 add 40 ml of water and bring it to a boil.

STEP 11

11 add 140 gm broccoli, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar,1 tsp sesame oil and salt to taste.

STEP 12

12 stir fry for 2 minutes.

STEP 13

13 then add the cornflour and water mixture and stir fry for another minute.

14 at this stage add the fried pieces of tofu and stir to ensure that the tofu and vegetables are evenly coated by the thick sauce. Turn off the heat. Serve hot.
