Ingredients for Home Made Banana Chips Recipe

  • 2 No.s Green banana
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • As required Oil for deep frying

Directions: Home Made Banana Chips Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut the green peel off the bananas.

  • STEP 1.In a large mixing bowl fill water, add 1tbsp turmeric (haldi) powder, 1 tbsp salt and mix well.

  • STEP 1.Using a manual slicer , slice the peeled banana over the water so that the slices fall into the salted turmeric water. Soak them for 5 minutes.

  • STEP 1.After 5 minutes, use a slotted ladle and remove the banana slices. Strain off the excess water and spread them out on a cotton cloth till the slices.

step 5

  • STEP 1.In a pan pour out oil for deep frying and slide the banana slices into the hot oil and fry for 4 to 5 still crisp. Remove and strain off the excess oil. Banana chips are ready at your home.
