Ingredients for Hing Pani Puri Recipe

  • 3 No.s Potatoes boiled and roughly mashed
  • 1/2 cup Green moong sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1.50 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1.50 teaspoon Black salt
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 chopped coriander leaves Handful
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup Mint leaves
  • 12 No.s Green chillies roughly broken
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1 cup Tamarind water

Directions: Hing Pani Puri Recipe

  • STEP 1. To make the pani, in a blender add ¼ cup coriander leaves, ¼ cup mint leaves, 12 green chillies roughly broken,½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp black salt, 1 tsp chaat masala powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp jaggery, 1 tsp hing and 1 cup tamarind water. Add 1 cup plain water or more (adjust according to taste).
  • STEP 2. Blend To make a smooth paste.
  • STEP 3. To make the filing, in a mixing bowl add 3 boiled and roughly mashed potatoes, ½ cup green moong sprouts, ½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp black salt, 1 tsp chaat masala anda handful of chopped coriander leaves. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Filling is ready.
  • STEP 4. To assemble the pani puri, pour the pani from the blender into a large bowl. Taste for seasoning and just accordingly. Add a few ice cubes.
  • STEP 5. Take a puri, make a small hole and fill it with a little bit of the potato filling. Then dunk it in the pani to fill it and then take a bite. Enjoy Hing Pani puri.
