These are the healthy version of the traditional pancakes. I made savoury jowar pancakes which are diabetic friendly and beneficial for health. It provides the essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Ingredients for Healthy Savoury Jowar Beetroot Pancakes Recipe

  • 0.38 cup Jowar flour
  • 1/4 Pieces Beetroot
  • 1/4 Pieces Onion
  • 0.13 cup Curd
  • 1/2 Pieces reen chillies
  • 0.13 cup Coriander leaves
  • as required Salt
  • as required Oil
  • as required water

Directions: Healthy Savoury Jowar Beetroot Pancakes Recipe

  • STEP 1.Grate beetroot and make puree.
  • STEP 2.Take jowar flour in a bowl.
  • STEP 3.Mix chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, curd, salt and pureed beetroot.
  • STEP 4.Blend everything into thick lump free batter. Keep aside for 10mins. Add more water to adjust the consistency.
  • STEP 5.Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle some oil, pour a ladle full of pancake batter.
  • STEP 6.Cook on one side and then flip over and cook the other side.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with green chutney.
