Ingredients for HARIYALI CHICKEN Recipe

  • 250 Gms Chicken pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Mint leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Blanch spinach
  • 1/2 Pieces Chopped tomato
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Pieces Sliced onion
  • 1/2 Pieces Fried onion
  • 1/2 Inch Ginger
  • 2.50 Pieces Garlic pods
  • 5 Pieces reen chilly
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1.50 Pieces Cloves
  • 1.50 Pieces Black pepper
  • 1 Pieces reen cardamom
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • 1/2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Curd
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/2 Pieces Chopped tomato
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp Clarified butter
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh cream

Directions: Hariyali Chicken Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until golden brown and take off the pan.
  • STEP 2.Wash and marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice.
  • STEP 3.Keep aside for 2 hours
  • STEP 4.Grind together the fried onion coriander leaves,green chillyblanched spinach, mint leaves,ginger stick,garlic pods,cashew nuts and whole garam masala to make a paste.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a pan add marinated chicken fry and strain it,keep aside.
  • STEP 6.Again heat oil in a pan add sliced onion and fry until light pink now add thick curd and stir continuously until oil leaves the pan.
  • STEP 7.Add green paste and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • STEP 8.Now add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
  • STEP 9.Add chopped tomato and cover it and cook in a slow flame for ten mins
  • STEP 10.Add clarified butter and mix well.
  • STEP 11.Add one cup of water and bring to boil now add fresh cream and mix well
  • STEP 12.Serve hot with rice or chapatis
