Ingredients for Harissa Chicken Recipe

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • As required Kosher salt
  • 10 large garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 1.50 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1.50 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne or more to your liking
  • 5-6 tablespoon homemade harissa paste
  • 1 Juice lemon
  • As required A generous drizzle of olive oil

  • STEP 1.Pat the chicken dry and season with kosher salt on both sides.

  • STEP 2.Place the chicken in a bowl and add garlic, onions, spices, and harissa paste. Add lemon juice and a generous sprinkle of extra virgin olive oil.

  • STEP 3.Heat an outdoor grill or an indoor griddle to medium-high heat (between 400-450 degrees fahrenheit) and be sure to lightly oil the grates.

  • STEP 4.Grill for 6 to 7 minutes or so on both sides or until the chicken is fully cooked.
