Mutton, pulses and spices are boiled and blended together and then made into irresistible kebabs. Serve them as appetizers along with green chutney and wow your guests.

Ingredients for Haleem Ki Kebab Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Chana dal
  • 1/4 cup Urad dal
  • 1/4 Split yellow moong dal cp
  • 1/4 cup Broken wheat
  • 500 gram Mutton curry cut
  • 2 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 10 No.s Garlic Cloves Finely Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • As required Saffron strands A few
  • 2 No.s Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1.50 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoon Besan
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Mint leaves

Directions: Haleem Ki Kebab Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak ¼ cup chana dal, ¼ cup urad dal, ¼ cp split yellow moong dal, ¼ cup broken wheat for 4 hours.

    • STEP 2.1put ¼ cup soaked chana dal, ¼ cup soaked urad dal, ¼ cup soaked split yellow moong dal, ¼ cup soaked broken wheat, 500 gms mutton curry cut, 2 inches ginger finely chopped, 10 cloves garlic finely chopped and salt to taste, into a pressure cooker. Add enough water to cover the level of all the ingredients.

    • STEP 3.2pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistles, turn the heat to low and cook for another 5 minutes. Turn off the heat. When the pressure has released naturally open the cooker.

    • STEP 4.3remove the mutton pieces, place them in a plate and allow them to cool. Then separate the meat from the bones.

    • STEP 5.4add the chopping blade in the zodiac master chef jar and add the separated mutton meat. Turn on the preethi mixer grinder to make a coarse mixture.

    • STEP 6.5remove the ground meat and keep aside.

    • STEP 7.6in a preheated pan add 1 tbsp ghee, few strands of saffron, 2 chopped green chillies, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp red chilli powder,1½ tsp coriander powder, 2 tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp cumin powder and saute for a few seconds to mix the masala well.

    • STEP 8.7add the ground mutton and the cooked dals, mix well to combine.

    • STEP 9.8keep stirring until the mixture thickens and comes away from the sides of the pan.

    step 11

    • STEP 10.9allow it to cool and transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.

    • STEP 11.10add 2 tbsp besan, salt to taste, a small bunch of finely chopped mint leaves and mix well to combine .

    • STEP 12.11shape into round disc shaped kebabs.

    step 14

    • STEP 13.12place the kebabs to fry on a preheated pan. Drizzle ghee and fry till golden brown on both sides.

    step 15

    • STEP 14.13serve hot with chutney.
