A japanese recipe of gyoza prepared from cabbage,onion and garlic filling. Serve with dipping sauce a combination of soy sauce, rice vinegar and chilli oil.

Ingredients for Gyoza Recipe

  • 1 cup cabbage, cooked and minced
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 4-5 chopped finely green onions
  • 5 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1.50 tablespoon Sake
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 30 gyoza wrappers
  • 1-2 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.33 cup Water
  • As required Dipping Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil or sesame oil

Directions: Gyoza Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pot cook the cabbage in boiling water for 2 mins

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cool and mince

step 3

  • STEP 3.In a bowl add the first 8 ingredients and mix well

step 4

  • STEP 4.Take a gyoza wrappers add 1tbsp of the mixture

step 5

  • STEP 5.Fold into half and moisten the edge

step 6

  • STEP 6.Make pleats on the edges

step 7

  • STEP 1.In a pan heat oil on medium heat

step 8

  • STEP 1.Place gyoza on the pan and cook until the bottom get golden brown

step 9

  • STEP 1.Add water immediately and cook until boil

step 10

  • STEP 1.For dipping sauce mix soy sauce , rice vinegar and chili oil
