  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Boil milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and add the soaked rice.
  • STEP 3.Cook on low heat until the rice is soft and the milk thickens.
  • STEP 4.Add jaggery and stir until it melts completely.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with nuts and serve hot or chilled.
