  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.13 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/4 tablespoon Jaggery

  • STEP 1.Wash and peel the sycamore figs, then chop them into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and chopped onions.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped sycamore figs, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until figs are tender.
  • STEP 4.Add tomato puree, tamarind pulp, and jaggery. Simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
