Gajrela or gajar ka halwa! Just the name brings back great childhood memories and a big smile on my face. Served piping hot this halwa is perfect for cold winters. Grated carrots cooked in ghee, khoya, milk, dried fruits and cardamom.
STEP 1.heat some gee in a pan and roast carrots in it for 3-4 minutes.
STEP 1.to this add milk and cook for 6-7 minutes till carrots get cooked.
STEP 2.In a separate pan fry cashew and raisins in some ghee till cashews turn brown.
STEP 3.Stir the carrots continuously and add sugar to it and cook for 3 minutes.
STEP 4.Finally add khoya and cardamom powder to this and give it a nice stir. Add fried dry fruits and mix well.
