Ingredients for Gujiyaa Recipe

  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • as required Milk
  • 1/4 cup Desiccated coconut
  • 0.13 cup mava / khoya
  • 1/2 tsp rava
  • As Required Few mixed dry fruits coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Raisins
  • 0.13 cup Bura sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions: Gujiyaa Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pan, add ghee and roast rava and coconut. Then roast mava and lastly add chopped dry fruits and raisins and bura sugar and mix everything well. Let it cool down.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, take maida and add ghee for moin and gradually adding milk knead a puri like dough. Cover it and keep aside for half an hour.
  • STEP 3.Now make medium sized balls from the dough and roll a puri from it. Put stuffing inside it and cover it and give gujiya shape.
  • STEP 4.Heat the oil or ghee for deep frying. Add prepared gujiya into it and fry it till light golden brown. Then take out.
  • STEP 5.Dissolve sugar into water and make syrup of one thread consistency and dip the fried gujiyas into the sugar syrup and coat well and take out.
  • STEP 6.Holi special mava gujiyas are ready to serve.
