Ingredients for Gujarati Kadhi Pakora Recipe

  • 2 Cup curd
  • 1.67 Tsp gram flour
  • 0.33 Tsp mustard seed
  • 0.17 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.67 Pieces green chillies chopped
  • 0.33 Inch ginger finely chopped
  • 2 Tsp Oil
  • 1 Cup water
  • 0.33 Tbsp sugar
  • To Taste Salt
  • As Required For Pakoras
  • 0.33 Cup gram flour
  • 0.67 Pieces onions
  • 0.67 Pieces green chillies
  • 0.33 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 1.33 Tsp oil
  • As Required Oil for frying
  • To Taste Salt
  • As Required water (for the batter)
  • 0.17 Cup chopped fresh coriander

Directions: Gujarati Kadhi Pakora Recipe

  • STEP 1.For the curry: Churn the curd along with gram flour and water.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil and fry the mustard seeds, asafoetida, chillies and ginger for five minutes.
  • STEP 3.Add the churned curd, turmeric powder and salt. Boil on a high flame and then simmer for 15 mins. Set aside.
  • STEP 4.For pakoras: Finely chop onions and green chillies.
  • STEP 5.Make a thick batter by mixing gram flour with onions, green chillies, salt, oil and water.
  • STEP 6.Deep fry in small portions. Add these pakoras in kadhi.
  • STEP 7.After adding pakoras boil, kadhi, for five mins, add sugar and simmer for a minute.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh chopped coriander and serve.
