  • 2 Nos fresh chilli peppers
  • 6 Nos chilli peppers
  • 2 Nos shallots
  • 2 Nos garlic cloves
  • 1 stalk Lemongrass
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh turmeric
  • 1/2 cup sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind pulp
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • 10 stalksfresh squids
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Chillies and remove their inner membranes

  • STEP 2.Use only the bottom part of lemon grass

step 3

  • STEP 3.Peel off shallots,garlic cloves, ginger and turmeric

step 4

  • STEP 4.Soak tamarind pulp in water.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Grind-shallots,fresh chillies, turmeric,garlic cloves,ginger, lemongrass and palm deseed sugar finely.

  • STEP 6.Mix the tamarind water and soy sauce to the ground mixture.

  • STEP 7.Wash and clean squids, remove the innards and make cuts from middle

  • STEP 8.Now keep it aside for 20 mins

  • STEP 1.heat pan/grill over medium heat

step 11

  • STEP 1.if using pan then add some oil for grilling

step 12

  • STEP 1.place the squids on the pan/grill.

step 13

  • STEP 1.baste the grilling prawns with the marinade mixture.

  • STEP 1.grill the squids until the cuts begin to curl
