How to Make Green Moong Dal Pulao With Vegetables Recipe

STEP 01

Soak 1 cup whole green moong dal for 6 hours

In a pressure cooker add 1 tbsp oil, 1 inch ginger finely chopped, 4 cloves garlic finely chopped and 1 onion finely chopped. Stir for a few seconds.

Next add 2 green cardamom, 2 inch cinnamon ,2 green chillies, 2 tomatoes finely chopped, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 carrots finely chopped, ½ cup green beans cut small, 1 cup soaked whole green moong dal and 1 cup rice.

STEP 01

Add salt to taste and 2 ½ cups water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles. Turn off the heat and allow pressure to release naturally. Pulao is ready.
