Ingredients for Green chana fritters Recipe

  • 0.33 cup green chana ( chickpeas)
  • 0.17 cup Besan/gram flour
  • 0.33 g reen Chilli
  • 0.17 inch Ginger
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.17 tsp Red chilli powder
  • handful Fresh Chopped coriander Leaves
  • 0.33 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 0.17 tsp Carom seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Hot oil
  • A Pinch pinch baking soda(optional)
  • As Required as needed oil for frying

Directions: Green Chana Fritters Recipe

  • STEP 1.First in a blender jar add green chana, green chilli, ginger and grind them coarsely.take out in a bowl.
  • STEP 2.Now in a small pan add coriander and fennel seeds and dry roast for few seconds, after that coarsely grind them, keep aside.
  • STEP 3.Now add gram flour in coarsely grinded chana mixture bowl along with salt, red chilli powder, coarsely grinded coriander + fennel seeds, chopped coriander leaves and carom seeds, mix well.add as required water to make little thick batter.
  • STEP 4.Meanwhile heat oil in a wok to frying - add 1 tsp of hot oil and baking soda (optional)into the batter and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Now drop fritters batter into medium hot oil by using hands or spoon and fry until nice golden, drain out in a pepper towel.
  • STEP 6.Green chana fritters is ready, serve hot with green coriander chutney or sauce.
