Ingredients for Gravy wale matar ki sabji Recipe

  • 1/2 cup dry peas
  • 0.13 cup Onion
  • 1/4 cup Tomato
  • 5 Pieces Cashew
  • 0.13 cup Oil
  • A Pinch Hing pinch of
  • 1 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Pieces Cardamom
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • A Pinch Turmeric powder pinch of
  • 1/4 tsp Dhaniya jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala

Directions: Gravy Wale Matar Ki Sabji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak dry peas in night.
  • STEP 2.In morning wash peas and add in cooker.
  • STEP 3.Boiled peas are ready for sabji. Soaked cashew in water for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Now in kadhai add 2 tbsp oil..
  • STEP 5.Add hing , cinnemon stick, cloves and cardamom in it. Saute in low flame for 1 min. Add chopped onion in it. Saute on low medium flame til translated. Then add chopped tomatoes in it. Cook till Tomato soft.. Let it cool this mixture. Now add this mixture in to blander jar and add 30 minutes soaked cashew in it..make fine paste. In kadhai add rest of 2 tbsp oil add this paste and cook on low flame.. add red chilli powder and dhaniya jira powder turmeric powder salt to taste in it . Cook on low flame till oil released. Now add boiled peas and 1/2 cup water in it. Cover kadhai with lid..cook on medium flame. Check between intervals. Cook till oil released and looks like Punjabi sabji.. Serve with naan or chapti or rice..
