  • 1/4 Medium Sized Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and grate the bottle gourd (lauki).
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add grated lauki, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Cover and cook on low heat until the lauki is tender.
  • STEP 6.Add garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
