Ingredients for Gooseberry Chutney Recipe

  • 1.25 Pieces Gooseberry
  • 0.13 cup Coconut
  • 1.50 g Green chilly
  • to taste Salt to taste
  • as required Water as required
  • 0.13 Cups Curd
  • 3/4 tsp Coconut oil
  • 0.13 tsp Mustard seed
  • 1/4 Pieces Red chilly
  • sprig Curry leaf

Directions: Gooseberry Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.*Combine together deseeded gooseberry,,coconut,green chilly and salt.
  • STEP 2.*Grind well using little water to make a smooth chutney.
  • STEP 3.*Add curd to the chutney and mix well.
  • STEP 4.*Heat coconut oil in a kadhai, splutter mustard, fry red chilly and curry leaf.
  • STEP 5.*Add chutney to the kadhai, stir well.Cook for 1 min.
  • STEP 6.*Immediately turn off the stove, do not overheat or boil.
  • STEP 7.*Serve with sambar-rice as a delicious side dish.
