How to Make Gondo Datshi/bhutanese Egg And Cheese Recipe
STEP 01
1 into a mixing bowl, crack and whisk 3 eggs till frothy.
STEP 02
2 in another mixing bowl crumble 250 gms farmers cheese.
STEP 03
3 heat a nonstick pan and melt 250 gms of butter.
STEP 04
4 once completely melted add 3 tbsp of sliced garlic cloves and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Adjust the flame as required from low to medium so that the butter and garlic do not burn.
STEP 05
5 then add the whisked eggs and stir continuously. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
STEP 06
6 next add the crumbled cheese and mix well. Check for salt and add according to taste.
STEP 07
7 add 1 tsp or more chilli flakes (optional) and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
STEP 08
8 once the butter separates from the eggs, the gondo datshi is ready.
