Directions: Gola-bhat With Sar Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice and lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the rice and lentils with water, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked rice and lentils to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 5.For the Sar, mix tamarind pulp, jaggery, red chili powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 7.Add the tamarind mixture to the pan and cook until it thickens.
  • STEP 8.Serve the Gola-Bhat with Sar and enjoy!
