  • 3-4 inch Ginger

How to Make Goan Chicken Cafreal Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

Marinate the chicken with salt and lime juice. now grind some garlic,ginger,onion,green chillies, cinnamon, peppercorns, cumin, cloves, cardamom, coriander leaves,add little water and make a paste.

Now add the masala into the chicken and mix it well. Make small cuts and mix the masala smoothly on every portion.

Now keep the marinated chicken in the fridge for 24 hours or sufficely for an hour or two.

Heat some oil in a pan and put the chicken onto it and sear it on low flame for 5 mins. Put the chicken onto it and sear it on low flame for 5 mins.

Put the chicken in the baking tin,and add all the marinade into it and also add 1/4th cup of water into the tin to give moisture and tenderness to the chicken.

Water will ensure that the chicken is tender, now heat the chicken for 45 mins at 100°c temperature.
