Ingredients for Gingerbread Recipe

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 No.s Egg
  • 3/4 cup Molasses
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 2.75 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pimento
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Directions: Gingerbread Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 - preheat the oven at 350° f.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 - grease the baking tray with cooking spray.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 - add butter and bowl in a mixing bowl and beat them on medium speed.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 - gradually add eggs to it and beat well.

step 5

  • STEP 5.6 - in another bowl mix molasses and water.

step 6

  • STEP 6.7- add this mixture to the sugar bowl.

step 7

  • STEP 7.8 - add flour, spices, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl and mix it well.

step 8

  • STEP 8.9 - mix all the ingredients together and combine well.

step 9

  • STEP 9.10 - spoon the batter into the baking tray.

step 10

  • STEP 10.1 - bake it for 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven.
