Ingredients for Ginger Chutney Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon Urad Dal
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Chana Dal
  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • 50 gram Dry Red Chillies
  • 50 gram Ginger Chopped
  • 100 gram Jaggery
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 6 No.s Garlic Pods

Directions: Ginger Chutney Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a pan add 3 tbsp of oil, add 1tbsp of coriander seeds, 1tbsp of chana dal, 1tbsp of urad dal.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 fry the lentils for 2 minutes in low flame.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 add 50gm of dry red chilies and fry for 2 minutes at low flame.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add 50gm of ginger in the pan and at low flame keep mixing the ingredients.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down completely.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 in a mixer grinder add this mix, 100 gm of jaggery, 50 gm thick tamarind juice, 1tbsp cumin seeds, 6 garlic pods, salt and blend it adding little quantities of hot water.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 finely blended ginger chutney is ready to serve.
