Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak dried yellow peas overnight or for at least 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the soaked peas until they are soft and cooked through.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions.
  • STEP 4.Add spices, tamarind pulp, and cooked peas to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with puris or puffed rice.
