  • As required For Dough
  • 100 gram Flour
  • 0.33 tablespoon Oil
  • As required Water
  • None Salt
  • 0.33 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 0.17 tablespoon coriander Powder
  • 0.17 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • As required Masala
  • 0.67 No.s Onions
  • 0.67 teaspoon Oil
  • 0.33 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.17 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.17 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 0.33 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

Directions: Gehu Ke Gatte Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 add all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

  • STEP 2.2 now add water to it and make a dough.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 keep the dough aside for 20 mins and let the dough set.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 apply some oil to your palms and roll the dough into a cylindrical shape.

  • STEP 5.1 boil water in a pan and as the water boils add the prepared dough cylinders to it.

step 6

  • STEP 6.2 let it cook for 25 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.3 keep it aside and let cool.

step 8

  • STEP 8.4 now cut them into small pieces.

step 9

  • STEP 9.5 add oil to a pan and add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and onions.

  • STEP 10.6 once onions get cooked add red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric.

step 11

  • STEP 11.7 mix everything well.

step 12

  • STEP 12.8 add salt and 2 tbsp water .

step 13

  • STEP 13.9 add prepared gatte to the pan and mix well
