How to Make Gehu Bajra Thepla Recipe

In a large mixing bowl add 1cup bajra flour, ½ cup whole wheat flour, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp black pepper powder, salt to taste, 1 inch ginger finely chopped, 1 green chilli finely chopped and 4 sprigs coriander leaves finely chopped.

Drizzle a little oil and add water to knead and make a smooth dough. Drizzle a little oil to smoothen the dough.

Divide the dough into balls. Dust a flat surface and roll out the balls into thin theplas.

Preheat a pan and place the thepla on it. Drizzle a little oil and cook on both sides till golden spots appear. Take off the heat.

Stack the theplas one on top of the other to retain the moisture and stay soft.
