Ingredients for Garlic Gravy Recipe

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 150 gram Shallots
  • 200 gram Garlic Cloves
  • As required Tamarind
  • 100 milliliter Sesame oil
  • 1 Mustard sp
  • 1/4 Urad dal sp
  • 1/2 Methi sp
  • 1 Cumin sp
  • As required Some curry leaves
  • 1/2 Turmeric powder sp
  • 1 Red chilli powder sp
  • 2 Coriander powder sp
  • 2 Rock salt sp
  • 1/4 Asafoetida powder sp
  • 1/2 tablespoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 Jaggery powder sp

Directions: Garlic Gravy Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Slice onion and tomato.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Grind ½ tomato,onion,and 9-10 garlic cloves to make a paste.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Soak tamarind in water for 10 mins

step 5

  • STEP 4.1.add 1-2 tbsp sesame oil in a cooking pot and heat it.

step 6

  • STEP 5.2.now add mustard and cumin,urad dal and methi.

step 7

  • STEP 6.3.add some curry leaves,shallots and cook for 5 mins.

step 8

  • STEP 7.4.then add 100 gm garlic cloves,½ sliced tomato,½ sp turmeric powder.

step 9

  • STEP 8.5.add the onion,tomato,garlic paste and cook for 5 mins.

step 10

  • STEP 9.6.now add-red chilli powder, coriander powder, tamarind water,rock salt.

step 11

  • STEP 10.7.mix well and cook for 5-7 mins.

step 12

  • STEP 11.8.add asafoetida powder,black pepper powder, jaggery powder and sesame oil ½ sp.

step 13

  • STEP 12.9.add curry leaves and cook for 5 mins.
