  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chana Dal
  • 2.25 Lic Cloves, Chopped
  • 5.50 Leaves
  • 1 Dried Red Chilies
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Jaggery
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Cook the rice and set aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Fry until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped garlic, curry leaves, and dried red chilies. Saute for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add tamarind pulp, turmeric powder, salt, and jaggery. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix well until the rice is coated with the tamarind mixture.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
