Pancake rolls filled with a delicious mixture of garlic chives, scrambled egg, dried shrimps and flavoured with oyster sauce and chinese 13 spice powder.
Directions: Garlic Chives And Egg Pancake Roll Recipe
step 1
STEP 1.1 heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add 3 whisked eggs stir and cook till scrambled. Then remove and keep aside to cool.

STEP 2.2 in a mixing bowl add 300 gm chopped garlic chives.

STEP 3.3 to this add the cooked egg, 20 gm dried shrimp. 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, salt to taste and mix well together.

STEP 4.4 in a large mixing bowl add 400 gm plain flour, salt to taste, and gradually stir in 200 ml water, whisking continuously till a lump-free batter is formed.

STEP 5.5 grease a frying pan with 1 tsp oil on medium heat, spoon 1 serving spoon of the batter into the pan and swirl gently to spread it to get a circular shape.

STEP 6.6 fry for 1 minute then flip it over and fry for another 1 minute on the other side.

STEP 7.7 then remove from the pan and place on a plate.

STEP 8.8 place 1 tbsp of the garlic chives mixture on one side of the pancake. Fold each side of the pancake over the mixture and make a roll. Set aside.

STEP 9.9 once all the batter and filling mixture has been used to prepare the rolls, heat 1 tbsp oil in the frying pan.

STEP 10.10 place the rolls in the hot pan, leaving 1 cm gap between them.

STEP 11.11 fry for 2 minutes on each side or until light golden. Remove and serve hot.
