A delicious fried eggplant prepared from coating with egg mixture,flour and breadcrumbs which is made by slicing the eggplant and dipping it in the batter, coating it with breadcrumbs and frying in hot oil, this Indian snack tastes best when seved with chutney.

Ingredients for Fried Eggplant Recipe

  • As required Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Nos eggplant
  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 Nos large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cameroon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder

Directions: Fried Eggplant Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Wash and cut the ends of the eggplant, peel the eggplant and Cut the end of the eggplant. Now cut the eggplant into circular pieces.

  • STEP 1.Transfer the pieces into a bowl and season it with salt and add some water and keep it aside for 10 minutes

  • STEP 1.In a bowl crack in eggs and add a tbsp of milk and whisk it In a bowl take flour,add 1/2 tsp salt,1/4 tsp cameroon pepper,garlic & ginger powder

  • STEP 1.In a bowl take flour,add 1/2 tsp salt,1/4 tsp cameroon pepper,garlic & ginger powder

  • STEP 2.At this point drain the eggplant water and rinse it

  • STEP 3.Now dry the eggplant pieces with a paper towel

  • STEP 1.Now coat each eggplant piece with the flour mixture then with egg mixture and lastly with the breadcrumbs

  • STEP 1.Add oil in a cooking pan & heat it

step 17

  • STEP 1.Now place the eggplant pieces into the pan and fry them from 2 mins from each side

  • STEP 1.Once fried take it out and serve.
